Richard Marsceau speaking at an event

Richard’s idea for a place for the Cedar Rapids community to gather and commune was reflected in a series of coffeehouses/cafés since 2003.  It started with Brewed Awakenings across from Coe College, then a kiosk in St. Luke’s Hospital, The café in the new public library, Brewed Café (now Brewhemia) in the New Bo District and two concessions venues: Legion Arts and the Theatre Cedar Rapids.

He loves to help entrepreneurs envision their dreams and develop a plan to succeed. While his experience is in coffeehouse/café venues, Richard is familiar with non-profits, small businesses, and corporate environments. He will work within each entity, assessing the issues that could block paths to success and assist in establishing measurable goals to achieve desired results. Whether it is one-on-one meetings, in small-group settings with executive leadership teams, or in front of large groups, Richard will encourage you in your efforts to create the organization you envision.

Personally, he loves hiking and traveling with his wife Nancy, spending time with family, gardening, collecting books and following the Chicago Cubs. This last interest assures him that he is well acquainted with organizations that do not meet their desired results.

Richard works with a network of partners in a variety of business specialities to help our clients. Areas of specialty include marketing, web design, accounting, legal advice, industry experts and more.
